Inspection body

The inspection body of the IGT has the necessary system competence to holistically evaluate the interactions between railway operation, railway vehicles and railway infrastructure. It is our objective to contribute with our services together with our customers to the safety of the product "railway". All evolving challenges in this complex and continuously changing are of expertise are handled in transparent and professional manners for our customers.

In addition, the IGT utilises its own in house railway undertaking for all required tasks from applying for test runs to the execution of these test runs, including confirmation runs for new or modified train control and protection systems. We can ensure the necessary tests execution as well as the evaluation and assessment of train control and protection systems by our own EBA approved experts.

Synergies for our customers evolve in particular from the competences of the inspection body combined with accredited services of our testing laboratory and our railway undertaking (EVU). Through this integral network, we lay the foundation for an independently, impartially, efficient, targeted and on-schedule execution of projects.
